Jim Marshall (1944-Presently Retired). As the visionary founder of JM Construction, Jim’s journey in the construction industry began in 1969 under the tutelage of his future father-in-law, Mark Snyder. Over the decades, Jim steered the company through countless successful projects, ranging from modest fence installations to expansive 18,000 sq ft custom homes, and even to massive 200,000 sq ft industrial facilities. His career is marked by an impeccable track record as an organizer and director, qualities that have been the cornerstone of JM Construction’s reputation.
Jim’s expertise extended beyond the construction site; he served as a paid expert witness in several legal proceedings, bringing clarity and authority to complex construction disputes. His deep understanding and hands-on experience made him a trusted figure not just within our company but also among his peers.
After more than 40 years of active involvement, Jim retired, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and innovation. His passion for the intricacies of construction projects never waned, and even in retirement, his legacy continues to shape the ethos of JM Construction.
Today, Jim enjoys his retirement alongside his wife, Cindy, cherishing family time with their three children, Mark, Joy and Bill and nine grandchildren: Lindsey, Lauren, Mikayla, Evan, Eden, Wil, Isabella, Leanna, and Audriana and three great grandchildren: Zephania, Theodore, and Barret James. His family, much like the structures he helped build, stands as a testament to his enduring legacy of strength and care.
